Overwatch may be the first new IP from developer Blizzard Entertainment as well as the new I will recall them ever releasing a console counterpart of the new game your day as PC. I'm not really gonna sugar coat anything here. There's a small cutscene whenever you boot up the game that offers context on the characters you'll play as on your time with Overwatch, but I can't say I even frolicked to look at it. I'm sure it is really an interesting couple minutes, but I am not investing my own time and your money into Overwatch for the story. Thankfully the action sees that and that's the past you receive from any sort of story.
What replaces a narrative will be 21 very detailed and other heros. These heros will be the core of Overwatch plus they are what increase the risk for game stand out from other first person multiplayer games. Each bring specific abilities to some match and can really meld well to characters during combat. And not one character feels vital for a team to achieve success. I'd personally say a complete team could play because the same character and have an opportunity of winning a match, albeit a small chance determined by what character.
Different color leaves though, there is no character that shines as a must play every match type. Each character has their own weakness and strengths, it's up to the player for their services on their fullest potential. Each one of the 21 characters features a few abilities up their sleeves for their play style and sophistication type. Some characters admittedly feel a lttle bit bare compared to others, but also in the conclusion, each of them feel nice to play as.
The maps in Overwatch are very fun to learn on. They serve the characters more than anything and setup specific choke points that beg you to definitely are a team to conquer. They appear very stylized, but more importantly they just don't eliminate in the characters inhabiting them.
Game modes have become standard. You've capture and defend type matches, in addition to escort missions. They are both thrown to the same quick play option. You can also play against A.I. that will create custom matches.
Additionally there is a leveling system available. It is rather standard and moves along in a brisk pace. It will be interesting to find out if people stay around following the presumed level 50 cap. I'm sure it will likely be raised after a couple of months though. Customization also comes in are character skins, emotes, voices, and sprays. They're fun to collect, but you are not at all the reason why I'll be loitering to learn the game.
